Col du Brouillard, Couloir Sud Ouest
28 / 01 / 2011 - ITALIE, Mt Blanc, 45°/50°, 1100 m

Today, small team with Davide Capozzi. The snow is getting rare in the Alpes. So, back again in the Miage glacier where we find not too bad condition last time. This corridor is 1100 m high and next to the one we did last week.

Back to Courmayeur, Back to Lac Combal and Back on this hugh Miage glacier. We start climbing up at 12 am and the sky is cloudy. We will see the evolution of the weather. It is 3 pm and we are in the fog. We still not see the Col du Brouillard (note that "Brouillard" is fog in French …)

We start riding down at 3:30 pm. There is little fresh snow. This corridor is huge. It's look like a real corridor, like the one we have in our home. We feel a bit tight inside. The narrowest part is 1m20. We have to put a 10 meter rope to pass down. The end of the corridor is like a big ramp.

And then when we finish the funniest part we have to go back to Courmayeur and the it's far far away. This time no friend was her to pick us up with the scooter. So we arrive at 8 pm in Courmayeur. 12 hours of walk for this one, we're stupid sometime …
